We are back for the final part of the land trip. We left Bronson and headed back to St. Louis on slippery roads and plenty of snow.

The finished snowman was really big! |
It cleared up on the way, but a couple days later we also got a snow storm with about 8” of snow so
we had a couple days of snowman building and sleigh riding before it melted.

For Christmas we all drove down to Georgia so we could
watch the Nutcracker with our star Madison. She performed like a pro even
though one of her other visiting cousins brought a 24 hour stomach virus she
shared with most everyone. Poor Madison got it at the end of her last performance
but you never would have known.

We then had a wonderful Christmas with such a
profusion of generous gifts it was overwhelming. Eric and family left soon
after Christmas and we stayed on to celebrate New Year’s with Aron and his
family before flying back to the boat and readying it for sailing. Jan 2
Aron took us and our mountain of luggage to Atlanta and we were off back to the
boat to continue our cruising.
